Roma, from Veretout to Diawara & El Shaarawy: the latest

Roma are going through numerous changes, after new manager Paulo Fonseca was introduced today, tomorrow will be new sporting director Gianluca Petrachi's turn to be involved.

Now that the giallorossi have sorted out their managerial situation, they can now focus on the squad. Jordan Veretout is the main target for the midfield, the French player agreed to personal terms with Roma and could arrive in exchange of Rick Karsdorp who would head to Fiorentina.

Sam Lammers is the new name for the attack, the player born in ‘97 played last season on loan at Heerenveen and is owned by PSV.

Roma are also working on another potential swap involving Kostas Manolas who would join Ancelotti at Napoli with Amadou Diawara heading to Fonseca's squad- the deal could be completed by the end of the week. On the outgoing front, a concrete offer arrived from Shanghai Shenua for Stephan El El Shaarawy who was offered €12 a million a year, Roma are asking 20 million for the former Milan and Padova winger.
