OLSEN: "Pleased to make decisive contribution on return"

Robin Olsen admitted Roma were left with plenty of things to work despite beating Bologna 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday night.

Goals from Aleksandar Kolarov and Federico Fazio midway through the second half eventually wrapped up the three points for the Giallorossi - although it was Olsen who was perhaps the home side's star performer, as he made a number of fine saves throughout the 90 minutes.

After missing the last few games through injury, the Sweden international was pleased to be able to make a decisive contribution on his return to action.

"I'm pleased to have played well today. They created a lot of chances, so I am just happy to have helped the team," Olsen said.

"We knew from the first game this seasonthat they are a physical team, hard-working and so we knew it would be tough. But obviously we need to play better than this.

"We need to look at it tomorrow, talk about it and see what was wrong today. Because that is not the real Roma, letting the opponent create so many chances. We need to be more secure, the whole team, keep the ball more - there are a lot of things we can work on and tomorrow we will speak about it and start working on it."

The goalkeeper suggested some tweaks at half-time helped change the contest.

"We knew that they want to use their striker [Federico Santander] a lot, and we knew he is very good in the air, so we had some problems when they used the long ball and he knocked it on," he said.

"They created some chances, too easily, but we talked about it at half-time and we dealt with it much better in the second half."
