Roma captain Daniele De Rossi spoke to television reporters immediately in the wake of the Giallorossi's 3-0 defeat against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
Goals from Isco, Gareth Bale and Mariano Diaz condemned Eusebio Di Francesco's side to a painful loss in their opening Champions League Group G game.
"There's just one thing to do now," De Rossi said.
"We need to work hard, and focus on Bologna [on Sunday]without dwelling on this game, last Sunday's game, or even the good moments we had last season."
Were you a bit demoralised in the end with all the possession Real had?
"That can happen a bit when you play against a side that makes you run a lot, but that is the ability they have. We had a few chances to punish them on the counter-attack or in the final third, but unfortunately along with those great dribblers they have good defenders too. Scoring goals against them isn't easy.
"I thought it was a bit better than on Sunday [against Chievo Verona] in terms of attitude - at a certain point then we stopped trying. I felt the team stayed out there, fighting, trying to defend and attack. In the past in games like this we took a thrashing."
Were you a bit short defensively on the wings, when they overlapped constantly?
"We can read things in a million different ways, when you are going against players this good you are always going to find yourself overrun in places.
"They are a great side, we are too, not quite like them but we must push on and show clearly and unequivocally that we are much better than we have demonstrated so far."
