Federico Fazio was full of admiration and praise for Cengiz Under in the wake of the forward's latest Roma goal.

The Turkish forward scored after 71 minutes at the Dacia Arena to break the deadlock against Udinese, in a game the Giallorossi would eventually go on to win 2-0.

And, speaking afterwards, defender Federico Fazio expressed his admiration for the youngster's performance.

"He had a great game," Fazio said. "It's not easy for him because he arrived here as a 20-year-old, in a strange country where he doesn't know the language.

"But he's doing a great job, he's out there on the pitch trying to do what the boss asks and then away from it he is learning Italian. He's a young player, humble, he always wants to learn, and in every training session he shows that.

"Now you are all talking about him, but he needs to keep his feet on the ground and continue as he has been, working hard and putting in great performances."

Cengiz's recent breakthrough has coincided with the team's form turning around - just in time for Wednesday's clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.

"We know that we needed to improve this month after a bad run of results," Fazio added. "We have changed things a bit and it was important to get back to winning ways.

"Now we must continue to improve, especially on Wednesday in the Champions League."
