Stephan El Shaarawy starts in attack alongside Edin Dzeko and Cengiz Under, as Roma face Sampdoria for the second time in five days on Sunday night.
Coach Eusebio Di Francesco has made just two changes from the side that drew with the Blucerchiati at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday, with El Shaarawy coming in for Patrik Schick and Juan Jesus replacing Federico Fazio in defence.
Daniele De Rossi is named on the substitutes bench, after missing both of the last two games, but there is no place for Schick - who complained of a slight injury at the end of training on Saturday.
